I photographed these Snow Geese and Ross’ Geese at the Bosque Del’Apache in Socorro New Mexico. This is the 2nd painting I have done of the geese there, the 1st one being “Snow Storm”. I love the way that the beautiful light in New Mexico makes such gorgeous colors and shadows on these plain white birds.

These geese are one of my favorite birds to paint.
